Children Hostels
SEVAI Society has taken efforts to help poor parents to bring up girl children with love through special support program. Girls from very poor families are admitted here and are given free boarding and lodging up to the age of 17, during which time they are also given English medium education up to higher secondary education. After the completion of their studies in the school, students are helped financially and guided by our organization to pursue their higher studies.
Halleluah Children Hostel
In Madurai we started Halleluah Children Hostel in 1996. Every year about 8-10 students are admitted.All their expenses related to their education, health, boarding and lodging are met by the contributions received from various donors. There are assistants,cooks and warden to help the children in their development.Now 77 girl children stay and studying in Xavier Matriculation Higher Secondary School.
Benedict Children Hostel
In Anamalayanpatti, Theni district there are four small
children hostels to accommodate poor girl children from the
neighborhood. These hostels were stared in 2007.The hostels are named after the villages
from Germany which contribute for the upkeep (House of Schools, House of Trier, House of
Friends, House of Albisheim).
Wendalinum Children Hostel
In Trichy there is another children hostel (Wendalinum children hostel)
which caters to the children of poor families in around Trichy. This hostel now accommodates 20 most deserving children and all are studying in Mary Matha High School.
